Mother Hicks at Castle View High School Castle Rock!

Mother Hicks is a story you may not have heard of, but it’s one you will never forget.

Castle View Theatre Company presents this powerful story of three outsiders living in rural Southern Illinois during the Great Depression.

It is a story of a girl with so little belonging she doesn’t even have a name, a deaf boy, and an eccentric recluse, who’s suspected of being a witch.

Told through sign-language and poetry, this critically acclaimed play recounts the difficult journey we all make in life. It’s a story of loss and longing, a story of hope in one of the most troubled times in our history, and a story of acceptance and healing.

Castle View High School. Castle Rock Colorado
Performances of Castle View Theatre Company’s Mother Hicks run Wednesday, March 2, to Saturday, March 5. Shows start at 7 pm, with a matinee on Saturday, March 5, at 1 p.m.
