I just lost my hearing, where do I start

Hello, I recently lost all of my hearing in both ears from a tumor. I am new to being deaf. Where do I start? How do I start? I need to learn ASL. I need help.I live in Broomfield CO

note from CO Deaf Social Network:

Hi, and welcome to the Deaf world. A good place to start would be with some resources for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Click this follow click (PDF), or copy/paste to your web browser: http://freecoloradodeaf.com/resourcesfordeaf

Hopefully you can find a good sign language class and/or a great tutor here as well.

Hope this gets you started.

Sincerely,

CDSN Team
